Kampala City

Hey!!!!

We made it okay! We just got to our room. It's 2 am Jan 6.
Flying was a little intense. Got off the plane at one point when I wasn't supposed to. We made two airport stops in Uganda...I was supposed to get off the second one. Went intonthe terminal and was soooo confused when I couldn't find megs!

After a bit of searching I asked a group of airport workers to Dona shout out or something. They guided me outside and the baggage WOMAN was looking for me everywhere. She ran up to me throwing her arms around me saying "I ve been trying to find to!" She escorted me back to the plane. She was laughing. Oh! And Meg and I had different seats so she had no Idea they had been looking for me!

They're so nice and helpful here! We didn't know there was campaigning going on down here..eek. We were checked with metal detectors to get into the grocery store and they have a couple guards garding the hotel lobby. Wow. Jane says it's alright though so don't worry.

Anyway, I wanted to let you know that they ve been having troubles with the internet at the orphanage. It's basically none existent. I'm going to try and make it into town a couple of times and touch base at least!

..Kampala city is decent but we drove by some slums that looked pretty intense. I saw a pack of dogs fighting over food in the street....I wanted to save them...haha.

Anyway, gotta run! It's late and we got get up early.
